Who we are
Transforming Today’s Youth (T.T.Y.) is a 501(c)(3) community-based organization dedicated to helping young people build strong character and pursue meaningful goals.
We emphasize growth in leadership, communication, self-direction, and problem-solving skills while encouraging meaningful mentor-mentee relationships through school-sponsored events and enrichment opportunities.
T.T.Y. is committed to improving the ethical behavior of youth by fostering strong family connections, academic engagement, and positive peer relationships.
We focus on the total well-being of each participant — intellectually, socially, emotionally, physically, morally, and spiritually — preparing them to thrive as confident, creative builders of their own futures.

Our Story
Transforming Today’s Youth was founded over fifteen years ago with a simple vision — to give young people the guidance and encouragement they need to reach their full potential.
From humble beginnings in the Richmond area, T.T.Y. has grown into a trusted community resource, helping countless children and teens stay motivated, pursue education, and build confidence in themselves and their futures.
Over the years, dedicated mentors, volunteers, and generous sponsors have joined the mission, expanding the reach and impact of T.T.Y.’s programs. Together, they continue to shape brighter futures — one student, one goal, and one success story at a time.
